Our Founder's Story
Dylan Harvey started Oversight Property Management Inc. in 2021 to provide professional services for landlords and tenants across Ontario. His background in mechanical engineering, construction oversight, and property management training gives him practical expertise in building systems, site operations, and regulatory standards.
He began his career in construction and manufacturing, working from general labourer and drafter/detailer to design engineer with companies such as Stubbe’s Precast, Tigercat Industries, and Trackless Vehicles Limited. These roles built his experience in design, fabrication, project supervision, and compliance. In 2018, he advanced to Assistant Site Superintendent, overseeing projects from ground breaking through occupancy. By 2021, he established Oversight Property Management to deliver reliable, compliant services to property owners and tenants.
His education includes an Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Mohawk College (Dean’s Honours List) and a Certificate in Property Management from Humber College, offered in partnership with the Institute of Housing Management (IHM). The program qualifies graduates to become IHM candidates and completing their AIHM designation.
Today, Oversight Property Management continues to grow under his leadership, with a focus on operational efficiency, tenant relations, and adherence to Ontario’s Residential Tenancies Act and Building/Fire Code standards.
